Play Songs from Amazon’s Cloud Player on Apple iOS 4 Devices
Amazon has introduced a new technology that would enable you to play downloaded songs not only from the web browser but any device that supports internet i.e. Amazon Cloud Player.
The new Amazon Cloud Player works magic on Android Devices but fails to do so… on APPLE devices.
Now you must be wondering how you would use the Amazon Cloud Player on an Apple Device.
I’ll tell you in this short, quick tutorial on “How to play music from Amazon’s Cloud Player on Apple iOS 4 Devices”.
Currently Amazon gives you 5GB free storage to store your earlier purchased music on the cloud player and enjoy your favorite music anytime and from anywhere.
Note: If you want to upgrade this service from 5GB to 20GB storage, just buy an album from them and you would be automatically put on the 20GB cloud storage service.
Okay, let’s head to the short How to.
Guide to play music from Amazon’s Cloud Player on Apple iOS 4
Step 1: Log into your Amazon.com Account and go to the cloud player application.
Note: Make sure you have already added songs onto your cloud player because without that how are you going to play music?
Step 2: Once you in your cloud player application you would see a list of songs that are available for playing. On normal Android devices, the music starts playing buy just tapping on the song name but that’s not going to happen on Apple iOS4 devices.
What’s the way to make it work?
Well, click on the small box (with a triangle pointing downwards) besides the name of the song and click on the “Download” Options that would be listed over there.
Step 3: Now, the song would start playing in your web browser. Your Apple Safari Web Browser comes with a media player and if you have QuickTime installed (which is quite obvious) your songs would play directly on your Apple iOS4 devices from Amazon Cloud Player Service.
I know, this isn’t a perfect solution to play the songs but it is the only one available.
