Most blog themes and website templates use color codes in Hexadecimal format. It can be quite difficult to remember the hexadecimal code for the colors, thus learning how to calculate the hexadecimal code is a viable option.
Hexadecimal codes for basic colors like Red, Blue, Green etc. can be remembered easily and you can find these codes on the internet but what if you want to find out the hexadecimal code for some color located on some webpage, or program, or any document?
Following is a simple tutorial that would teach you how to calculate the hexadecimal code for any color.
Step 1 – Go to the webpage, document or program where the color is located and press “Prt Scr,” this would apply the Print Screen Function.
Step 2 – Now Open MS Paint and paste the screenshot there.
Step 3 – Now click on the “color picker” button and then pick the color for which you want the hexadecimal code.
Step 4 – Click on “Edit colors,” to find out the Red, Blue and Green values of the color for which you want the hexadecimal code.
Step 5 – Open the calculator program and switch the Programmer mode.
Step 6 – Now put the decimal values of red, blue and green in the calculator and switch to hexadecimal mode respectively to get the Hexadecimal value for these three colors.
Step 7 – Combine the three Hexadecimal values and then use it in designing webpages, editing font colors, building logos etc.
