Copy and Paste Enabled on WP 7
Windows Phone 7 is a growing operating system from Microsoft. WP 7 may not seem much interesting at the moment but Microsoft is working heavily on creating a lucrative application store for Windows Phone 7 similar to Android Market and Apple Store.
In an attempt to attract more developers and make existing developers’ work easier Microsoft have released an update for Windows Phone 7 developer’s kit which includes the much demanded copy and paste feature.
Bandon Watson, Microsoft’s director of developer relations has confirmed that their new update would enable copy and paste feature on their WP 7 application development software.
Microsoft is very happy to see a huge number of application developers downloading their software and is doing every bit they can to better their experience.
I believe that an operating system needs to have a very good application store because users buy phones keeping in mind future needs and Apple Store is the biggest example of how an app store determines an OS’s success.
Bandon added that this new update would also speed up application launch time.
Existing Windows Phone 7 users (mobile phone users not developers) may also see an update coming out especially for speeding up application launch time.
