The Apple iPhone 4S might be the costliest and “least value for money” phone available in India but it is breaking records world over. In America, for instance, Verizon Wireless sold 4.2 million iPhones consisting of iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the latest iPhone 4S.
The iPhone 4S was launched by Tim Cook in October, which provided it with the time to settle down in the market world over and most importantly create a mark for itself during the Holiday Season. According to a report, that came in November, iPhone 4S was the hottest selling Smartphonein the United States of America.
iPhone 4S was released with three official data carriers – AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint and if we believe the official & unofficial statistics, each of these data carriers are enjoying massive success, all because of the iPhone 4S.
Apple is going to unveil its quarterly revenues later this month, and I believe the revenue from these 4.2 million units is going to share quite a big chunk of that pie chart.
