On 13th of December this year, Sony Corp. registered the trademark ‘Xperia Ion’ with the serial no. 85493863 which could possibly be the name for Sony’s upcoming Smartphone Superphone i.e. LT28AT which is expected to have outstanding set of tech specs.
LT28AT from Sony would be manufactured for AT&T’s 4G LTE network and is expected to have a brilliant 4.55-inch Sony Reality Display running on Mobile Bravia Engine, 720p HD (1280 x 720) display resolution, 13-megapixel rear camera, front facing camera with HD video recording and noise cancelling microphones on both front & rear of the phone.
These specs are somewhat similar to LT26i Nozomi which is another much awaited Superphone from Sony and would also be released in 2012. Sony LT28AT Smartphone is expected to be Sony’s flagship Android phone for 2012 and might be released during CES 2012.
On Monday, January 9th, Sony is going to make a special presentation about it. I am very excited about the design of this Smartphone, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc had one of the most impressive Designs and I have great expectations from LT28AT.
