Samsung to sell 10 million phones this year
Samsung strategy this year is to break each of their Samsung sales record, their wonder phone Samsung Galaxy S is their prime weapon. Samsung marketing is handled by a very renowned team which is constantly using most effective advertising tools to generate leads. Galaxy S price was somewhat too high thus its low-end cheap Samsung phones like Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 are up for competition.
Quarter 3 of last year was a big nightmare for several corporations and Samsung was among them in terms of earning, this year however, due to a reinvention of Samsung marketing and Samsung strategy they have turned the tables in their favor.
In past 12 months Sony came up with 4 Xperia Android phones ranges that were priced correctly from Rs. 13000 to Rs. 28000, this truly revamped their success charts. Samsung has profitably done the same with their Cheap Samsung Phones.
Samsung sales saw a big turn over in the third quarter of 2010, making record-breaking revenues of (1.58 trillion Indian rupees; $35.8 billion) as well as profits (175.58 billion Indian rupees; $3.96 billion).

Though Galaxy S price in India is still scorching at about Rs. 28000 ($631.48 U.S. dollars).
The company’s biggest risk paid off well and their decision to move into smartphone world seemed to be one of their biggest achievements. The strong semiconductor performance posed by galaxy phones is their strength.
The brand sold out about 71.4 million phones out of which about 7.1 million were from Galaxy series thus showing efficiency of Samsung strategy and Samsung marketing. Company’s desire is to rule out everyone off the smartphone world by selling more than 10 million phones this year.
With cheap Samsung phones like Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 doing well in Indian markets it seems their dream would come true soon and Samsung sales would shot up even more.
