If you are an application developer then Intel has a contest called Intel AppUp Developer Contest for you. You must have heard about Intel AppUp which is Intel’s dedicated App Store for Windows operating system. If you think that you can develop or have developed a web app that is worthy enough to be listed in Intel AppUp Developer Contest as a premium app then you should definitely take part in this contest.

By publishing your app on Intel’s platform, you would not only get recognition but a ultrathin notebook as well. There are five categories in which you web app can win and get you a slim Ultrabook device that costs somewhere around $1500.

There is an early bird prize too, first 200 valid entries which are listed in Intel AppUp Developer Contest would be awarded $250 each. Intel is currently accepting web apps built using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and embedded Flash which can be built using Intel AppUp encapsulator. The contest is open till 30th of January, 2012.
