HTC Merge a 10MP Camera Phone! or… a tablet?

HTC Smartphone manufacturer adds HTC Merge to inventory

It sounded a bit weird that a phone having a name “HTC Merge” with a 10MP Camera is the next HTC Smartphone to be launched by world’s number smartphone company.

Well, the name suggested it to be a tablet pc since “merge” somehow suggests features of a computer in a portable media device.

The true case is actually different from our expectations. According to Phandroid, Verizon recently added HTC Merge to their inventory under the code name “ADR6325″.

It is still not sure whether it really has a 10MP Camera or it is just a rumor to create buzz in the tight mobile phone marketplace.

Knowing that there are a few devices from HTC that will be knocking the smartphone world by next month, HTC merge could be one of the new entries.

HTC Desire HD and HTC Hero 2 are among the top qualifiers that grabs most of the eyeballs over the internet and offline world.

Actually, HTC Merge looks to me as if HTC is trying hard, very hard to survive in the increasing market for smart mobile phone. Apple and Google are also in the same condition.

Android has really made other manufacturers life – less of O2

So what do you think about HTC Merge, would you shell out around $750 for such a device?

  1. [...] Do you know HTC has also invented a 10 MP smartphone called HTC Merge, NO? read here… [...]

  2. HTC makes good phones but they fail to maintain a good lineup. They mess it by adding too many models in very less time.
