The shocking news is out in a traditional fashion — on YouTube. HP Slate Prototype that was expected to launch in early 2011 has been leaked on YouTube by a guy named “x313xkillax” — It’s his user name BTW.

Now the crazy thing is that everyone had expected that since HP now owns Palm, it’d operate on Palm WebOS but surprisingly enough, the HP Slate Prototype seemed to run on Windows 7 — Bad luck Android :(

:D Now what’s the big buzz about the gadget? — No nothing much, in design the prototype seems quite usual. Normal back panels design, crystal HP Logo.

We always expect great back panels and detailed designs from HP but this time they have underperformed.

The guy — yeah! the mysterious revealer said that HP Slate Prototype has very impressive touch quality — we surely agree! :)

Video of this gadget is hosted on YouTube but you can see it here as well — have a look.
