Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 release scheduled for tomorrow
Harry Potter is definitely the most successful book and movie series in terms of fan following. I am personally a huge of Harry Potter, if you go by the popular term, i am a huge Pottermaniac. Anyways, tomorrow i.e. 15th of July would be the end of this amazing journey as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 would hit the theaters.
I saw Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on my brother’s computer because i didn’t have one at that time. I didn’t really understand most of it because i was 10, maybe 11 and the whole movie was in English but i came into direct contact with series due to Cartoon Network, May Movie Magic, do you remember?
Years spent with HP books
I have spent hours reading Harry Potter books and each sequence in 7 books is instilled in my imagination. I can’t remember those moments of awe while reading the books and watching the movies.
Millions of people around the globe are crazy about this series, it is not just a book series, it is a phenomenon.
Hogwartz – The School of Witchcraft & Wizardry is a dream school of thousands of kids across nations, i have dreamed learning magic in that school several times and i think if you are Potter Maniac like i am you must have got dreams like that too.
I had plans to watch this movie tomorrow in 3D in theaters but surprisingly all the theaters in my city are pre-booked. No tickets are left, the only show left in 9:30 PM one and since that theater is quite far from my place, it won’t be a good idea to return home from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 at 00:30 in the morning.
The Direction, I hope it doesn’t disappoint this time
I don’t know about you but for me Harry Potter movies are more than just special effects, the books bind you in an emotional tangle with Harry Potter and his life at Hogwartz, making new friends, honing battling skills, making new friends, believing in yourself etc.
In the 5th, 6th and 7th part of the film, the director has focused mostly on the special effects, Wizards are different from human beings and that is what makes the books very interesting but in the sequels of harry potter that i mentioned viz. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 most of the characters behave like normal people.
Yes, they can do magic but that feel is missing, major portions of the books have been kept short in the movie which take off the soul of it.
I loved the first four parts of HP series but definitely not the ones directed by David Yates, i think these guys should have put forward Harry Potter before special effect, well that’s my view of it, what do you think?
The three-dimensional Effect
The last 3D movie i saw was Kung Fu Panda 2 and it was spectacular and i am sure that the last movie in the Harry Potter series would have amazing 3D effects, that’s a positive part of David Yates as a director, it is a visual treat to watch his films.
It has been 11 years since Harry Potter has come to life from the pen of J.K. Rowling, it has been a wonderful journey and even though there won’t be no Harry Potter books in future, Harry Potter would stay alive in form of its books and movies already present, your and mine imagination and J.K. Rowling’s new project i.e. Pottermore, haven’t you heard of it?
The story in the last book, Harry Potter battling it out with Voldemort is pretty interesting, i think most of the story in HP movies would be same, i read in a news report that death of a significant character Prof. Snape played by Alan Rickman would be altered for the good, i feel there would be some minor changes here and there, i just hope they don’t play with the expectations of millions billion of HP across the globe.
Forget everything skeptical that i have written, just hope that this movie develops into a perfect adieu to Harry Potter and his magical world.
Good bye Harry, in advance.

I’m going to see the last movie on the 16th in IMAX 3D. I can’t wait.
I used to agree with you, that some parts of the book shouldn’t have been left out. Then I considered that the movie can only be so long, and that some parts aren’t exactly vital to the story, even though major fans might enjoy seeing them on the big screen.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing this movie, and based on the trailer, I don’t think it will disappoint.
all the best for the movie, i will see it too, but a little later i guess, on monday, yeah!
