A Fake Macbook Pro to break Apple’s Domination!

Fake Apple Macbook Pro — Counterfeiting at it’s best!

fake-apple-macbook-pro

For those of my lovely readers who love Apple gadgets and Apple Macbook Pro, the one that costs mighty 1.4 Lac can get an imposter home for 1/7th the price. :)

The white Macbook look-a-like laptop is made by LeThink, i hope they are not struck by a design copyright infringement lawsuit but their creation is a true fake of the loaded Macbook.

In case you are wondering whether it has the same features and performance then my answer would be definitely negative, how can you expect Chinese to create a true copy. :D

Now, there might be some instances when you would have seen Chinese Mobile Phones e.g. Nokia N97 Mini exactly the same with all the things intact but this is not like those.

The brand ain’t selling it in Apple’s branding but the looks are deceptive.

You want to look at Fake Apple Macbook Pros‘ features? here they are…

  • Dual-Battery capacity
  • Slide-out tray for DVDs
  • NVIDIA Ion 2 graphics processor
  • 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510 CPU
  • GMA 3150 graphics
  • 1GB of RAM built-in (can be expanded to 2GB)
  • LAN port, HDMI Port and VGA Port
  • HDD expandable to 360GB

The cost of this Fakester is truly impressive, though i would go for a HP product instead… Price of Facebook Macbook Pro in China is 2,999 yuan which is ~ $440.

What do you think about this… crazy way to promote crap products or just a silly mistake? Do share your feeling with a growing number of Wizard Journal Readers… at the moments we have 300 Readers/day so… you comment makes a difference.

  1. i am about to buy a mac book pro. :) will go for apple mac book pro not for any fake for sure :)

Chinese play important role in killing the branded products. however they rock and roll in technology.

    • Yes Robin, I would always recommend you and everyone to buy original products and Apple Macbook is something that’ll take a decade to copy in features and power-packed performance.

Chinese Gadget makers are good but not the best :)

  2. Haha,, what a notebook! China has so many engineer to duplicate popular products. :D

  3. Pearl Nannes says:

Well, the most important part of your blogging success which i see is your consistence, 35 articles in your September archives showed a lot about you Rakesh. I hope to see some great technology and gadget posts.

  4. Crap man! The whole thing looks just like the original macbook pro, gosh! darn it! chinese developers are cool… really.

  5. I have seen the real macbook pro from apple and this one looks somewhat same, i don’t know whether it will match apple’s authenticity — no it won’t but still Chinese guys have done a good job and apple should have a look at it. :)

  6. Oh! this macbook pro looks cool, just like the real one? Is this gonna launch in the united states? eh!

  7. I find it unbelievable for somebody to be recommending counterfeiting. Do you stupid people not know that IP ( intellectual property) is? Ill explain it, when a company such as Apple designs something they automatically have rights to their design, and can sue anyone else copying it and i hope they sue the asses of this company badly. I study industrial design at uni, and I sure wouldnt want those Chinese bastards ripping off my work.

And, i have a REAL Macbook pro and its fantastic. Much better than that bit of crap.

    • Yup Adam,

I don’t know whether Apple would sue ‘em for not, i would have… I was not promoting anyone to buy this product… it was so funny to see such a real-alike duplication of the REAL Macbook Pro.

I was quite astonished and hmm… if that’s the case i think whole China should be sued because fake ipods etc. are selling like Wildfire.

What do you think bout that?
