After BlackBerry’s BBM service and Apple’s iMessage, WhatsApp Messenger is the most sophisticated tool to send messages to your friends. While BBM and iMessage are limited BlackBerry and Apple users respectively, WhatsApp Messenger is available for almost all the Smartphone platforms.
According to analytics revealed by WhatsApp Messenger team recently, they are serving about 1 billion messages each day. Most of the people who own a Smartphone running on operating systems including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and Symbian are switching from traditional SMS service to WhatsApp cross-platform Messenger.
