If you have just joined Google+ social network and have been quite impressed with the offered by it then I think you would be using it simultaneously with Facebook.
The best and the most vital part of any social networking website is the friends circle, you upload a photo to your profile because you want your friends to see it, right?
If you have a lot of photos on Facebook and want to upload them on Google+, I’d say it can be a real tiring experience and that is why I decided to search for methods that would help me upload my entry photos currently hosted on Facebook to my new social networking account on Google Plus.
So, today I am going to teach you How to transfer pictures from Facebook to Google+ via this visual aided tutorial.
The Tutorial
Instead of downloading each photo from your Facebook profile, this technique downloads all your albums on Facebook and then you can upload the albums one by one of Google+ social network.
1) Go to PicknZip.com, it is a free tool that lets you download all the albums hosted on your Facebook account to your desktop.
2) Log in with your Facebook credentials using the “Login with Facebook” bar. It would open a dialog bar, click on “Allow” button to confirm.
3) Click on “FIND MY PHOTOS” to search all your photographs that are located on Facebook.
4) Head to “Download” tab and click on “Download all my as well tagged Photographs”, you can also manually select the photographs you want to download as well.
5) Now, you would be asked to select one of the options, either to get a “ZIP” file of your pictures or “PDF” file. I would suggest you to go with ZIP. Now you would see PicknZip gather and process your pictures.
6) Once your photos have been processed, PicknZip would prompt you to download the files, click “OK” and the download would begin, you would then find this sort of a folder in your hard drive.
7) Now head to Google Plus in your web browser, go to your profile, click on “Photos Tab” and then click on “Upload New Photos.”
8 ) You will have a dialog box open as a pop-up in your web browser, click on “Upload photos from hard drive” then navigate to picknzip downloaded filed, then “Albums” –> Open the album folder which you want to upload and select all the images, once you are done with that click on “Upload.”
9) Once all your photos have been upload, give a name to your album and then click on “Create Album” to create a new album on your Google Plus Account.
10) It’s important that you select which circles you want to share that album with, that’s sort of the key feature of using Google Plus, once you have selected the circles, click “Share.”
11) Now you photos have been uploaded in a new album on your Google Plus account and can be viewed by the circles you select.
Do that with your all your albums and that’s it, all your Facebook photos would be transfer to the new social network from Google i.e. Google Plus.
