Well as we are getting advance we need to upgrade ourselves and things around us. We don’t use the mobile phones we used 5 years ago and probably we don’t have the same car as we did 5 years back, so now to keep up with beating technology, these are some Car gadgets that may come handy.
No. 5 – Smartphone Apps
Do you own a smartphone? Very good, if you don’t get one because engineers around the globe are working on this future technology for automobiles that will allow you to keep up with your car’s health, fuel, speed and everything else with smartphone applications.
With this auto electronics’ advancement one can feel much closer to technology as in Car Technology. Just imagine, you get an application pop-up in the morning about car battery (if car is electric) or fuel remaining details or something else. It will make everything simpler wouldn’t it?
It could also allow system to sync Twitter and Facebook Feeds.
No. 4 – Global Positioning System (GPS) Devices
“Let’s never get lost again” – If you know what I am talking about, imagine how simpler it would be to find new locations, you could reach any place, find it easily and get there on time and on time is a wonderful thing, ask your boss if you don’t agree.
Okay, so GPS navigators are currently available in the market but the car gadget we are talking about here would be embedded in your car audio system, you need to purchase and make space for external GPS navigator.

If you carry your music in your pen drive, MP3 player or an iPod you might want a system that integrates it all into one and that’s what engineers at leading car audio system brands including Alpine, Pioneer and Kenwood are working on.
It will literally give the remote control in your hand, you can control every piece of music or video, watch in on the screen that would come with this and enjoy your car journey with this upcoming car technology.
Apple is also working to create similar synchronizing application for iPhone 4 which would also be available on iPod Touch 4th Generation, so if you want to prepare for this earlier, get on new iPod Touch.

This gadget from ecoRoute HD is compatible with their existing Nuvi portable nav system. This car gadget is unique, really special and will help save you time, money and fuel (a natural resource, in case you forgot).
Okay, this Car Technology provides graphs and similar stats to driver about the path which leads to his destination. Compiling Car’s Performance it generates special statistics for it with which the driver would know in real-time when to accelerate and when to decelerate in order to save maximum time and fuel.
It is a very intelligent idea. Also it enables him to recognize his own capabilities.

Okay… So the moment has arrived, the best car gadget of the year award goes to *drumroll* – The Connected Cars. Cheers!
Okay we’ll celebrate later but let me take you through what this is.
If you travel with your friends with more than one car this technology would connect both cars not physically but technically.
This Car Gadget would enable both to share RSS feeds, Twitter Events and other talks with text-to-speech technology, you write, the other one will hear.
It also tracks where the other person is, so now you don’t have to panic even if you lag behind as your monitor would tell you the path which the first one took and thus there won’t be any phone calls asking, “Hey, buddy, I have come to this crossroad, which path you took?” LOL
The Final Words and My Car Technology
Automobiles and Cars in not my forte, I am more of a good Computer Person although I don’t mind changing something in anything. J
I would like to see a Car Technology that allows you to voice with friends directly from the dashboard, get notifications if they tried to contact my cell phone at home and similar stuff, in short my car should be my Android, it should even welcome me when I arrive and ask where would you like to take me today. ;D
