Kyros MID7015 Android-based Tablet from Coby costs $250
Coby, the brand that usually sells entertainment players has now entered the fierce tablet pc market with its Kyros MID7015 Android-based Tablet.
I am still unsure whether anyone in the world is intelligent enough to launch something that is really needed. This one is cheaper than every other Android Tablet in the market but still not worth the effort.
I think every company has niche and that is what defines them, trying to do something out of the ordinary, seeking heroism by copying ain’t gonna benefit them.
Coby Entertainment – Android Portable Computer
Features, Specifications of Kyros MID7015 Android-based Tablet
- It has a 7-inch resistive touchscreen for input (slightly smaller than Galaxy Tab and slightly larger that Dell Streak)
- It operates on Eclair – Android 2.1
- 4GB built-in memory to store dedicated apps
- microSD card to expand storage
- Dedicated applications store called AppsLib Marketplace and not Android Market
- A HDMI port that promises to deliver 1080p HD videos
Nice but doesn’t have the spark that is needed. Apple iPad is still ruling other Tablets, does it stand a chance in front of Samsung, Apple and Dell, the answer is mostly No.
Even HP and Research in Motion is facing competition… they need revolution to win.
What is your take on Kyros MID7015 Android-based Tablet PC, worth spending money on? Even though it is just $250 a lot less than $599 for which iPad is sold. I love android
and I am just waiting for any device to come with android, like to have this device in my hands
Hmm… I would prefer going for Samsung Galaxy Tab, sleeker and with more powerful hardware. This is one is fine too!
