T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide – Design, Specs and a lot more
T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide is a new Smartphone from the company that would be available with company’s 2 year data contract. For how much? Well that’s written at the end of this entry.
T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide looks pretty similar in terms of looks and feel to its predecessor i.e. T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide but it much more advanced that that.
Key Features of myTouch 4G
It is powered by 1GHz dual core Qualcomm SnapDragon processor which makes switching between the applications effortless. It has a huge inventory of application from the second best dedicated apps store in the world, you guessed it right I am talking about Android Market, it runs on Android v2.3 Gingerbread.
Other than that, for high speed internet access, it has support for 4G networks. It is manufactured by HTC so they have put their beautiful user interface into this phone i.e. HTC Sense UI 3.0.
It has beautiful metallic finishing on the outside which makes it extravagant and also quite heavy (184g). It has a wide 3.7 inches Super LCD touchscreen display which is pretty bright and responsive.
At the bottom of the touchscreen there are buttons to Home and other shortcuts, it also has a “Genius Key” that prepares T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide for voice commands and voice to text input.
The optical trackpad located at the bottom mid of the phone doubled up as a select and scroll button.
If you can live without texting from your phone and hate using onscreen QWERTY keyboard then you would like this Smartphone because it has, as the name suggest, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the keys are widely spaced so even if you have large thumbs, you would do fine, there are several shortcut keys there as well.
For video chat it has a front facing camera which works fine but at the back it has a massive 8MP camera with dual LED flash which HTC claims to be the best in market. The picture quality of the camera is very nice, it can record and play Full HD (1080p) videos with superb clarity.
It also has a Digicam like light sensors that sets the aperture of the lens for superfine images. There are loads of shooting modes like Panorama, Sports, Burst Mode, ClearShot HDR Mode, Night Mode, Sunlight Mode etc.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide can be purchased from T-Mobile’s Official website for a price of $199.99 along with a 2-year data contract which is great for such a Smartphone.
