Sony Ericsson announced their latest Smartphone under the Xperia tag called ‘Ray’ last month. It somewhat resembles Xperia Arc in terms of its dimensions and key features. Like Xperia Arc it has long slim body structure and a large vibrant display screen.

Build and Construction

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray has a large 3.3 inch touchscreen display that offers 480 x 854 pixels resolution. Below the display screen rest three button, beautifully arranged, these keys are shortcuts to menu, home and back buttons.

In the top left corner it has secondary cameras for video chat. On the top panel, Xperia Ray has 3.5mm stereo headphone jack along with the charging point. The phone comes with a brilliant stereo headset to give you an unmatched experience with music.

On the side panels Xperia Ray has rocker volume controllers and the cameras shutter, pretty basic stuff.

It has an 8MP cameras that rests on its back panel along with supportive flash that enables you to capture stunning HQ pictures 3264×2448 pixels resolution and record HD (720p) videos with superb clarity.

On the whole Xperia Ray looks like a pretty basic high end Smartphone. Winking smile

Currently Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Smartphone hasn’t been launched. It is expected to launch in the month of August this year. It is expected to cost $549 (Rs. 25,499 + Customs in India).

  2. Pricing u guessed is wrong..check out flipkart.com…though its under coming soon status but its price is 19000 including taxes :) now thats cool though wud be missing an HDMI port
