The results are quite shocking when it comes to stats revealing information regarding new phones that were launched at CES 2011.
New Smartphone & New Tablet PCs at CES 2011
New Tablet PCs Flooded CES 2011
There was nothing more exciting at CES 2011 than 80 New Tablet PCs that made their way into the market.
I still remember the day when Apple iPad was launched and there were no gadget in the market that could think of competing with it. After the huge success of Apple iPad, all other IT companies got into their R&D department to carve out a finer piece of Tablet PC.
We then began to see New Tablet PCs from unconventional companies like Creative and Coby.
According to CES 2011 statistics issued by Row Feeder Motorola was the most popular brand at CES. Twitter and Facebook were flooded with tweets and status updates of Motorola Xoom, Motorola’s new New Tablet PC that runs on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).
We covered Motorola Xoom, New Tablet PC from Motorola Inc. too and we have only one thing to say about it… It is delicious.
Best of CES Award in ‘Portable Computer’ goes to… Motorola
Motorola was also awarded the ‘Best of CES’ award for Portable Computer range, the new portable computer was exclusive and holding Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) in it made it a hot commodity.
The Second place was captured by BlackBerry Playbook, followed by Samsung Galaxy Tab both Android Tablet PCs.
The War between New Smartphones intensified
The market for new smartphones is very promising and companies know that. We saw some major mobile phones getting launched at CES 2011 running on BB OS 6, Android and WP7.
Without a doubt, BlackBerry OS 6 came out to be the clear winner for new smartphones’ operating system, followed by Android which had majorly dominated year 2010.
Other than Android new smartphones, mobile phone range running on Windows Phone 7 saw gaining immense attention from people and ranked third in the tweet traffic and Facebook updates analytics.
Was CES 2011 the beginning of Apple’s Downfall?
In the swarm of new smartphones and new tablet pcs making their way in the market we noticed that twitter and Facebook users were not too generous in posting about products from apple.
Although Apple didn’t came up with any new products this and the dream to see Apple iPad 2 was shattered but still people love Apple more than any other company.
iPhone (iOS) was not much popular during this year’s CES 2011.
Anyways, we can just hope the best of new smartphones and new tablet pcs coming up in the months ahead. CES is over but the wait to see these gadgets live in action has sprouted up in major audience.
We will keep you updated about everything that happens around you in the world of Information Technology.
