Motorola Droid 2 Globally Launched
Motorola Droid 2 has been officially set off for sale at Verizon Wireless. The mobile phone whose specifications are mind-numbing and totally comparable to a tablet PC is available for $149 after a $100 rebate at the Verizon Wireless Store.
Remember, it comes with a 2-year contract with Verizon Service Provider.
The Global launch of Motorola Droid 2 has created competition among other phone providers, recently AT&T had come up with a tablet PC deal for iPad with Apple.

Touchscreen Input: TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors, 480 x 854 pixels resolution and 3.7 inches size, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm rocker audio jack, 8GB internal memory, 8GB microSD card included, Wi-Fi, GPRS, 3G etc. enabled.
On the multimedia front, it has a 5MP autofocus, face-detection camera, It operated on Android Froyo 2.2 and works on a 1.2GHz processor, TV-out feature that project image of 720p resolution.
