LG unveils Xnote Z330 & Z430–“Two Superb MacBook Air Clones”

lg-xnote-z330-ultrabooksIt is a fact, whenever any Ultrabook is launched, it is directly compared with Apple MacBook Air because, believe it or not, Apple MacBook Air is the most sophisticated laptop in that category, even though you might have to sell 10 of your rusty Windows desktops to buy one. The latest competitors of Apple MacBook Air who’d love to dethrone it are LG Xnote Z330 & Z430.

lg-z330-z430-ultrabookBoth these Ultrabooks look extremely thin, the Xnote Z330 is tinier among the two and has a 13.3-inch display (right on the target for a Ultrabook), is just .57-inches thick, weighs 2.67 pounds, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB/ 256 GB of SDD storage and would be powered by second generation of Intel Core i5/i7 processors.

On the hand, Z330’s big brother Z430 would have a 14-inch display screen, .57-inches thickness, and would weight 3.3 pounds. On the inside, like Z330, it would be powered by second generation of Intel Core i5/i7 processors, along with 8GB/16GB of RAM, and up to 550 GB of HDD/128GB of SDD storage.

Both these Ultrabooks look brilliant and have made it to my personal list of – “Most Anticipated Gadgets of 2012.” These Ultrabooks would be released within Q1 2012, although, nothing about its pricing has been unveiled yet but since it feels like a threat to Apple MacBook Air, it might be pitched around the same price as MacBook Air.

Although, the Z330 looks like the perfect Ultrabook but it might be shy of earning the top spot of being the thinnest Core i7 laptop because it is expected that CES 2012 has several “Apple MacBook Air clones” in store for the tech community. Well, since CES 2012, is not too far from now, the whole tech community is going to find out about above statement’s authenticity.
