Dell Means Business: New Android & Windows Tablet PCs (Coming Soon)

Dell Tablet PCs Expands with New Android & Windows Tablet PCs

Dell which has been known for creating 7-inch portable Tablet PCs has now entered the 10-inch zone with their latest series of Tablets.

Dell Tablet PCs are very good because of two reasons. First they operate on powerful Hardware therefore you would love to use it for anything and everything you do and secondly they have an amazing user interface (Dell Stage UI), customized and designed for widgets, shortcuts etc.

During their event ‘Dell Means Business’ Dell launched two New Tablet PCs one of them ran on Windows while other one ran on Android OS.

These two new gadgets were launched along with 39+ more gadgets by Dell during their ‘Dell Means Business Event’. They have a bevy of new gadgets preparing to get launched which ranges from desktop, laptops to convertible portable computer i.e. Latitude XT3.

The full-fledged details, specs and price of New Dell Tablet PCs were not revealed at the event but one thing is for sure that the Windows Version would run on an Intel Processor Chip and would come in market around mid 2011.

It seems that these new Tablet PCs wouldn’t be launched under the existing line of portable computers from Dell which means none of these might hold a Streak tag to it.

What we know and what we don’t want to know?

Hmm… as of now, not too many things about these new Business Tablet PCs have unfolded. The version of Android Operating System is not clear too, a rumor suggests that Android Tablet PC from Dell would run on Version 2.2 (Froyo).

This is sad because if these Dell Tablet PCs run on Android then it might not get the attention it deserves since everyone wants to go with the best and at that time the best would be a tablet that runs on Android OS 3.0 and not 2.2 like Motorola Xoom and G-Slate.

Dell needs to think ahead of the curve or else it would launch a series of products that would go stale within a few months, or even a few days and maybe a few second.

Dell’s Reputation in the business world is very impressive. Most Companies these days run their business on PCs manufactured by Dell so it is not like they won’t get recognition if they try to attempt something new, out-of-the-box (if we see by their standards) with their series of Dell Tablet PCs.

A Question for ‘You’: Would you be interested to purchase a 10-inch Business Tablet or 7-inch Portable Multimedia Tablet? 7-inch is Sweet but 10-inch is impressive – Which one would you pick?
