BlackBerry Dakota Smartphone runs on BlackBerry OS 6.1 and is the only mobile phone to run on that OS, the closest to it is BlackBerry Torch which sports the Version 6 of BlackBerry OS.

BlackBerry Dakota Business Mobile Phone

According to some leaked images of BlackBerry Dakota Smartphone, it appears that it has both touchscreen and QWERTY keypad as input mediums.

Since BlackBerry is responsible for commencement of a generation of high-end business phones I had a lot of expectation from BlackBerry Dakota Smartphone and it appears to do justice to the company’s name.

Technical Specifications and Features of BlackBerry Dakota Smartphone

  • 2.8-inch (VGA resolution) Capacitive Touchsceen
  • 5MP Camera with HD Video Recording
  • 4GB storage and 768MB Ram

There has been no specific announcement about BlackBerry Dakota Smartphone or launch date of BlackBerry Dakota Smartphone but I think it would have come in the market soon because after BlackBerry Bold 2, no phone from thus business mobile phone giant has come into picture.
