Things you never knew about Apple iPhone 5
As I have told many times before that USP of Apple is its innovation. Apple always works to bring out something new, something stinging, something that would attract consumers right away.
They have shown they are capable of it in past with Apple iPhone 4 and Apple iPad and it seems they are planning to do it one more time with the new version of Apple iPhone.
Rumors suggest that Apple iPhone 5… if that’s what they would call it would be coming very soon this year and would support many new features most of whom are aimed to revolutionize our daily business and entertainment activities.
The Concept of Interconnected Macs with NFC Chip
Possibly, iPhone 5 support more than just a NFC Chip that breaks the need of wires, Bluetooth dongles or any other data transfer methods.
NFC stands for Near Field Communication; Samsung Google Nexus S is working on such a technology too. NFC sends out a radio signal from the device enabling it to interact wirelessly with all the devices in that range possessing that same chip.
What NFC & iPhone 5 can do for you?
For one, Apple iPhone 5 can wirelessly interact with your Macintosh computer, send and receive data without the need of wires. With this new technology in Apple iPhone 5 one can carry his desktop setting, documents, files and folder, contact and setting with him all the time.
It becomes a difficult job when you have to connect your phone to your PC and then let them talk with each other, send files etc. but with Apple iPhone 5 it would change, you would be able to send and receive docs by just taking the phone close enough to other system.
This new technology works with every device that also has an NFC chip. At present, Macs don’t have an NFC chip but they will have them soon.
But that’s not all!
Apple iPhone 5 could also be used as a credit card which means you don’t need to carry of bundle of them with you while go for shopping or… on a vacation.
Well don’t you think this would make your life sorted? If you want to buy something… you would just reach your Apple iPhone 5, punch in the product code, retailer id or something… enter your password and you are done, your purchase has been made.
I am not sure how this is going to work but certainly Apple would have thought something about it or if they haven’t… they will.
What about Security then?
This word can’t be removed from almost any IT product or service. Ask Facebook, they are dealing with some allegation about Privacy issues every single day.
Anyhow, at the moment we don’t much about the intensity of security software that might go into Apple iPhone 5 but it does support finger print recognition, maybe you’d have to verify your fingerprint before making a transaction.
All this would be unveiled when the product comes into press… maybe Apple is building the anticipation… they have done a good job in past, they would pull it off this time too.
It is expected that iPhone 5 might be announced in June 2011 i.e. Q2 this year… I am not sure about the precise features or the launch date or whether something like this exists but I wish it does.
