Altek Leo, 14 MP Android Camera-phone

Altek Leo, a new Android-based gadget is raising the temperature all over the gadget world, Wizard Journal was completely thunder-struck when its features were revealed in European News.

According to the press release, the gadget will hit consumers worldwide by the first quarter of 2011. Even though there are many superb camera mobile phones available in the market but this seems to have something that was never heard or told before.

Earlier this year, Spice had come up with a mobile phone that cost nearly Rs. 12,000 (269.61 USD) and had a 12 MP camera with real 3x optical zoom. Now why am i mentioning that?

Because Altek Leo also features a good camera, in fact it has the biggest any mobile phone has to offer, a 14MP camera, with dual-LED flash, autofocus and 3x optical zoom. Cool

Now something else, it operates on Android and has a full touchscreen interface, because of a nearly unknown brand name, it might not be welcomed warmly in India, but in Europe the stakes would be set quite high.

What do you have to say about these mobile phones where you can’t distinguish whether you are carrying a camera phone or a phone camera. ;D
