Sundar Pichai, who leads the team that develops Google Browser and Chrome OS, told The Hindu that they might launch Google Chromebook in India by early 2012. Currently, only Acer and Samsung manufacture these laptops and Sundar didn’t suggest who would be the first to launch Google Chromebook in India.
Chromebook runs on a browser-based Operating System i.e. Chrome OS which nothing but an Operating system that runs within the browser. When you’d boot-up your Chromebook, the first thing that would appear on the display screen would be Google Chrome web browser.
