How to Password Protect Google Chrome

Password Protect Google Chrome Web Browser

Google Chrome is the fastest web browser I have ever used but it has a minor flaw i.e. it doesn’t support password protection, you can’t secure your bookmarks, saved passwords and browser history from family members, co-workers or friends.

I have found these 3 extensions that would help you password protect your Chrome Browser from everyone but you.

Browser Lock Extension

1) Go to Browser Lock Extension Homepage using your Google Chrome browser and click on the “Install” Button.

4) Click the red “Panic Button” in order to let all your opened tabs get hidden and if you want to retrieve them you would have to enter the password by which it is protected. Unlike the previous two apps, this one hides your data and opened tabs in case situations of emergency. Pretty useful.Smile with tongue out
