Today, Mark Zuckerberg hosted a grand event which was streamed online by thousands of people around the world. It was sort of expected that Mark is going to announce some new “revolutionizing” feature for Facebook users and that’s exactly what he did.

Like Google Chat, Skype, Yahoo Messenger etc. support Video chat now you would be able to give video calls to your friends on Facebook. Actually, Facebook has made a deal with Skype, which undoubtedly the king of video calling to develop this plugin for Facebook.

Since this new service is launched today, if you are looking forward to install it on your account, this tutorial would come handy. I have made it as simple as possible step by step.

The Tutorial

1) Go to Facebook video calling page by clicking on [this] link and then click on “Get Started” button.

2) Once you click on “Get Started” button, you would be asked by Facebook to select a friend from your chat to whom you want to make that call, so pick one.

3) Now a download would start in your web browser, this would download Facebook Video call installer, run the .exe file and Facebook Video Calling plugin would get install on your PC and you can use it anytime.

4) That’s it now every time you open your Facebook Chat, you would this small video camera like icon, click on it and start your video call session, it is that simple!
