Sony Ericsson Z1 PlayStation Phone caught on Tape
Don’t know how to react to this but, yeah! The so talked-about Sony Ericsson Z1 PlayStation Phone was caught on video by a spy cam blogger. The video is so blurry that everything looks the same.
I can bet, you can easily mistake the Z1 PlayStation Phone for Dell Streak Tablet but hang on, I think if the video had been a little better we could present to the whole world… actually only to those who are a part of Wizard Journal Network that the PlayStation is a fail.
My Take on Sony Ericsson Z1 PlayStation Phone
The first concept of a PlayStation phone was strange, I don’t know why would they think of bringing phone feature to the PSP or PSP feature to the phone… in any case it is weird.
Although I love the PSP GO but still this one is way crazier concept from Sony.
I seriously admired the previous gaming consoles from the brand but it is launched in market – I would never buy it. I would rather go from Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operated handsets that come with Xbox Live – Sweet Gaming.

Some Expected features of Sony Ericsson Z1 PlayStation Phone
The phone is expected to sport Retina-like high-res 4.1″ (or maybe a 3.7″) touchscreen, it would possible by powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB ram, 1GB ROM and a microSD card slot for games and all.
This upcoming so called “gaming-phone” is expected to run on Android 2.3 or Android 3.0 since the version is not yet made Official though the codename remains the same for both – Gingerbread.
The price for the same is expected to be around $500 and additional games may cost as low as 10 bucks.
If you can wait! Sony Ericsson Z1 PlayStation Phone is rumored to arrive in stores just after February 2011.
Are you game for such a device, I am not! I think they should make two separate devices, actually there were separate devices earlier. A total fail concept for me. battery should a main concern in this phone bcoz games requires it alot.
on the contrary, why the hell is sony is eager to combine psp and phone
rather than making a psp2 ?
I have no idea about the same Pranjal, Sony is trying to combine things, first they combine their walkman to phone now psp to phone… i hope they don’t create a Khichdi gadget next.
Battery would be stronger… because PSP GO uses a sleeker battery maybe that one will go in this playstation phone as well.
