Rage is an awesome first player shooter game for iOS devices (being avid call of duty player, i know which first player shooter games deserve to be called “awesome”), launched back in November 2010 and since its launch, it has gained major popularity in the iOS community and good reviews from some of the biggest technology websites in the world, Quotes below.
After the huge success of Rage & Rage HD for iPhone and iPad, id software, the guys behind this game have decided to thank their fans by throwing away this game for free on iTunes and that too for a whole week. Whoa, isn’t that something special?
A little something about the game
The story of this game revolves around a TV show Mutant Bash TV! in which you make a deal with show’s menacing host J.K Stiles to go into the mutant dungeon and show them what you’ve got, using pounds of ammo and weapons in your backpack.
I don’t like mutant games much, I have had a horrible experience with Half Life in my childhood. Let’s leave that, anyways, if you like mutant and zombie games, this game is something that you can’t miss.

Okay, enough free promotion of the game, but seriously, the graphics, sound effects, game modes, storyline and every other thing in this game is simply fabulous. Graphics of Rage HD are optimized for iPhone 4 and iPad, you would simply love it, the download size of this game is 747MB.
