Earlier this month, I shared with you a Gaming Tournament called “NVIDIA GeForce LAN Party” which is going to happen in Mumbai. If you haven’t already registered for this event, this is the right time to join because spots are scarce. A couple of updates have been revealed including the prizes which would be distributed to the winners.
First of all, it is confirmed that NVIDIA GeForce LAN Party would be held in Bandra Kurla Complex Grounds at BKC in Mumbai on 14th of October.
Shah Rukh Khan would also be there to cheer the players and boost their confidence (like he did in Kolkata Knight Riders match in IPL Season 1). Apart from being an avid gamer, SRK’s new movie Ra.One’s story revolves around a game designer’s creation that became dangerously real.
Movie’s promos have been released and it seems that the story and especially the special effects of Ra.One would be fantastic. I just hope SRK smuggles a new sneak peak of Ra.One at the event.
A ton of mouth watering prizes are at stake. First of all, if you are planning to participate in NVIDIA GeForce LAN Party as a team for Counter Strike and Call of Duty then you are aiming at the top most prize because the winners of these games are going to take home Rs. 1 Lac cash and a Dell Alienware M11X Gaming Laptop while runners up would get Rs. 50K cash and the same Gaming Laptop.
Winners of NFS, NFS Girls, FIFA and GTA Girls are also going to take home Rs. 10K and Dell Alienware 3D Monitor while runners up would get Rs. 5K cash and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphic card.
All of the above mentioned prizes would be distributed to the winners by Shah Rukh Khan and also Shah Rukh may dance with them (this is just a possibility).
Anyways, as told before, the registrations for this event is open to everyone but entries on the day of the event is subjected to only first 1000 Gamers. So, if you want to participate in this event, make sure you register online and then reach Bandra Kurla Complex Grounds at BKC in Mumbai on 14th of October before time because there are several thousand passionate Gamers residing in India.
All the best.
