A lot of things happened earlier this month, demise of Steve, announcement of a cheaper iPhone 4 and the “much awaited” release of Apple iPhone 4S (with unbelievably real Siri). October seems to be a month of “Total Appleness” in India as well; Apple iPhone 4 and iPad 2’s sales have gone up and created scarcity in the market.
Several of Apple distributors in India have confirmed that there is a shortage Apple iPhone 4 and they are also indicating that a new iPhone would be launched sometimes in November. I am not sure whether it would be iPhone 4S or the cheaper variant of iPhone 4.
What do you think?
October is festive season in India, it’s time for the auspicious occasion of “Diwali,” where we give and receive gifts and share loads of joyous moments. In my view, Apple iPhone 4 or iPad 2 is a pretty neat gift for Diwali even though it is very costly. All the Apple products are known for their premium looks and features and that’s probably the reason for this shortage.
By this time, Apple’s marketing team would have understood that India has a great market for their products and they should release their iProducts here as soon as possible.
It is likely that “new iPhone 4 release in November” is true; it doesn’t seem like a rumor. November isn’t too far and I wish Apple gifts us with a “cheaper iPhone 4,” running on iOS 5.
What do you want from Apple?

How do you know this info? Do you have any source who can confirm this? I asked the customer care in apple and no one has any clue about it.
